Tenth anniversary drawing. Yah!
I was at a comedy club on the weekend and saw a cartoony poster of a character holding up a sign. I was going to ape it but in the end defaulted to my 'comic book' style. The pose is still similar though.
It's an ok drawing but the angle of the hips and shoulders were suppose to contrast more and mirror the angle of the disc she is holding. That's not apparent when I look at the drawing ... and I drew it! The rough sketch of this piece has a lot more POP to it but with a lot of my 'finished' pieces, it got lost in transition. Something else to work on definitely.
Nice, solid figure with good proportions. A very clean piece as well - excellent.
