I'm late and I cheated (it's not a drawing), but here it is. For those of you who haven't had the chance to read the story and wonder about the symbolism in this image: the company that produced electric grandmothers delivered them in a sarcophagus.

21 - I Sing the Body Electric

This went through a couple of doodles.  Originally she had lighting scars/tattoos along her spine but I left them out in the final image.  I tried making music notes coming out of the blades at the back to form wings but I wasn't skilled enough to pull it off in the end.  I still liked the imagery of it so I lightly penciled in some wings and I think they look kind of neat.

I really love this "Demon Mask" so I hope you enjoy my rendering. I want to do more shading on it later since there is none in the backround. I think the dark backround will make all the details pop.
