6 - Me and Xmas
Not much to say about this one except ... uh, awkward.
Love Actually was on tv the other day and this is a take on the vampish secretary who tries to seduce her boss at the Christmas party with mistletoe. I don't want to brag but I definitely pull it off better than she did. Saucy minx!
Now Bill has 2 things to pick up the next time he visits .....

5 - Charlie's Angel
I initially drew her in just the pose but it didn't capture the over-the-top silliness of the show so I put her on a surf board and voila.
I didn't try to caricaturize Farrah Fawcett but with the hair that I drew, it had to be Jill. Sweet, sweet Jill.
The fun things to draw in this were the little design elements of the 70's style. The gaudy lining design of the suit jacket, the bell bottom everything, the high collars and the platform shoes. DY-NO-MITE!

4b - The Batman (cleaned up)
Gotham by Gaslight batman is really fun to draw.
Bill, if you want to ink this you can print it out or else drop by the office and grab the original.
Die, Twilight, DIE!
GO TEAM BATMAN!!!

Future Dark Knight
This was fun!!! Like one of my cohorts on 52 Scribbles, I too immediately saw the caped crusader as a much younger person. Hey, he had to be a kid at some point.
The great thing about this post is that I am now caught up.
It can be daunting trying to do something like this that's purely for our own enjoyment. Especially when trying to balance work, family, the impending holidays, and so on. However, as my partners now know, it has inspired me to focus on furthering my wanting to draw, and to create comics, or books perhaps. You never know.
Thanks for tunin' in

4b - The Batman
Was doodling at lunch and did another quickie Batman sketch.
Gotham by Gaslight Batman yelling 'Die, Twilight Vampires, DIE!!'
I might clean this up this week ....
4 - The Batman
West, Adam West .... Jr.
I have no right to ink cause I suck at it but I thought I'd try it on this piece. Yeah, I suck at it.

Bill's Magikoopa-2 weeks later!
Fun character to do. Had a blast thinking of all the great times I've had playing Mario since the intro of the Nintendo system. Perhaps over the holiday I'll dust off my Super NES, load up Super Mario World and kick some turtle ass!!

Bill's Tin Man-3 weeks later!!
Well, what I thought would turn out to be extremely easy, was extremely frustrating. I selected the Tin Man for the group as my pick given that it is one of my favorite characters from comics, the movie, etc. I started drawing right out of the gate with this one, but soon came to a screeching halt as new ideas started to pop up. Soon I was drawing individual parts, scanning them in, and grouping them all together strategically until I liked what I created. Finally, after being called the Liefeld of the participants, I knew I had to finish, whether I fully liked it or not. Other than a few minor changes, I'm pleased with the outcome.

2 - Tin Man
I wanted to create something original but I got too busy this week to work on any designs.
Still, it was fun to draw and I realized that the original is still the best.
I can't get the damn song out of my head though.....

Tough as Nails-Captain America
After numerous attempts I decided on a bust drawing of Cap to keep the idea I had simple. I wanted to incorporate the shield more as a logo rather than a piece of his equipment, but wanted it to resemble the great imagery from 80's T.V. shows. I'm pleased overall, but would like to really get good at the airbrush tool in Sketchbook Pro. The basic head shape was done in pencil on paper then scanned in as a TIFF file where I did the build from there.
